Built in the 1970s, this unique conservatory was full of history, housed delicate plants, and had been adored for generations. Unfortunately, the building had begun to rot and would need expertise to replace it whilst keeping its originality. The delicate nature of the plants would also require skilled hands and extra care, whilst building something durable and long lasting to continue to house them. Of course, we here at Energy Efficient Homes cannot resist a challenge, so we were more than happy to help!

This customer was “apprehensive at the beginning and wondered if it would ever be restored to its former glory”. However, we understood that this exciting project had to be carefully planned and executed. Each part of the conservatory had to be built in stages, with each stage being measured meticulously before designing the next. All of these stages took time, hard work and the care of everyone involved to bring this “beautiful new conservatory” to life.

The end result? A contemporary conservatory with all the charm of the original building. The customer was delighted, commenting “I am absolutely thrilled with the result” and that their new building is “light, clean and airy and, more than anything, it’s now safe too”.
